Why your HTML code doesn't work on My Space

This is a little off my beaten path but I do find it amusing. Since I signed up for a page on Myspace.com a couple of weeks ago I have had several attempts on my page to data mine, copy passwords and phish my page. As soon as I signed up and began to write raw HTML to customize my page it was obvious of the down falls. Granted as the page is parsed the myspace servers take certain liberty's with your code to assure compliance to their platform. It reminded me of some of the old tricks I had learned years ago. I thought it would be cool to see just how many of the simple ones would work. My first attempt at the raw HTML were crude as I haven't penned in HTML since I had the old HP 233. I didn't really consider malicious attempt s at flooding HREM or buffer over runs as fair game. After all I don't want to get in trouble with myspace. To those of us that manage servers for a living its kind of a sore spot when we get attempts to crash or catch our data. I'm just talking about things like false buttons or redirects or corrupting swf files for stacking register links. And of course the obvious password get commands that were used with the older worms such as the bangel or the first mycoolweb.
I got to admit all of my crude attempts failed. Even my second vamps of code and third crashed miserable. I still see paths that I would like to try but don't want to get into trouble. Still it's an interesting topic which I would like to explore as time permits. Oh yeah data base php to mySQL is useless. No php no java except theirs and no new classes work. Maybe calling exsisting classes by a CHAIN or INVOKE but I haven't tried those threads yet as there are only several hundred to explore.
Very Interesting
So how are pages and passwords hacked? I can't tell you even if I do figure it out.
To add comments go to The open source project and post to my name. Hey their servers are free. And secure!!!

A few days ago while I was away from my desk  I wanted to get a file off of my main computer. Usually that no problem because I just use remote desktop to access the machine. But to my dismay my home machine had shut down due to a brief power outage (the computer is usually allways on) This was a problem that I hadn't really encountered before. After sifting the rumble of numerous google searches I found the solution .

How to wake a sleeping computer remotely

its called

Wol

(Wake Up On Lan)

Hint

you need one piece of software and a few modifications   of your control panel and possible your router

The whole thing  involves calling your lan card from its MAC address (it can't be your IP )

because if your computer is shut down it doesn't have an IP.

If you don't know your mac address refer to your routers manual

(I'm assuming you have a router  as I have in many other articles stressed how important it is to  have one. I recommend  that you use a hardwired router  verses a wireless any time you can. The main thing is that you understand why you CAN"T use your Ip
